Our Story
Jasmine and Jacob met in 2012 on a cinema trip for a friend’s birthday, where they rather impressively ate all the popcorn before the film had even started. Between that and Jasmine confidently introducing herself with “I’m a fairy!”, it was a pretty unforgettable way to meet.
Over the years, they’ve grown up side by side, sharing a love of nature, rock climbing, travelling, and dancing together at festivals. During a trip around America, Jacob proposed to Jasmine in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, surrounded by vibrant dahlias. After a long (and slightly chaotic) day exploring—including escaping Alcatraz and spotting sea lions on the pier—it ended with a well-earned quiet evening after an unexpectedly long walk across half the city, with no phone battery to call a taxi.
Now, they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with the people they love most—and, of course, a lot of dancing.
